Update: Look at our retaining wall!!!

Look at how much happened since yesterday! The guys would have finished today if I hadn't decided the wall should be a block higher in order to better level the yard.

Check out the grass on our neighbor's side (right) - you can barely tell any digging or work was done!

I didn't take a photo inside the pit behind the wall but they laid a thick perforated pipe in order to corral water. On top of it is yesterday's gravel - they went through it ALL!

This is today's gravel load - you should have seen the dust this kicked up when it was dumped *cough*

Tomorrow they shovel this behind the wall and scrape the soil back into the pit. They estimated the project would be done on Tuesday but at the speed they are going? I wouldn't be surprised to see this finished tomorrow - weather willing of course.
