UPDATE: Our Winner is Ireon Williams!
Hello Fresh is an awesome service and I hope they stay in business FOREVER!
You give them money, they mail you a box of ingredients and an ingredient card. Half an hour later you get to take photos like this:
Every week there is a selection of recipes to choose from. We've ordered steak, tilapia, pork and chicken. All have been delicious - plus we got to try new foods without the hassle of buying a bushel of an obscure ingredient we need one teaspoon of.
Food is Fed-Exxed overnight.
At the top is the booklet of recipes.
Inside the top layer of bubble wrap are ingredients for individual meals in shoebox sized cardboard boxes. Under all of those are ice packs and then the meat.
Here is what was inside the first box we made.
Look at the teeny vinegar and honey! Other boxes have come with two garlic cloves vacuum sealed. It may eliminate wasted ingredients but it sure adds to my mirth!
My favorite part is time management. Step one may tell you to prep potatoes and throw them in the oven for 20 minutes. Step two may say prepare the seasoning. Then three would be season the chicken and cook on the stove top for ten minutes. If you follow in order it will all automagically end up done at once!
We are currently paying $69 for four meals for two (can sign up for up to seven days). If you are a new member you can receive $40 off your first box: https://www.hellofresh.com/
If you want to sign up for their service using my referral code it is J2Q6P6 I would get $20 off my next order if you sign up through it.
Now for the fun part:
