Wireless Charging Nightstands? Yes and Please!

Why didn't anyone tell me Ikea was building furniture with integrated wireless chargers!? They have an entire section devoted to it here: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/departments/wireless_charging/

While the furniture offerings are scant they sell individual charging pads:

in single or three pack servings. The prices are reasonable ($28 for the single charger) even though you have to buy a specialized case for your phone (between $15 and $25 depending on model). I haven't found too many reviews yet but they all agree case options are limited and ugly:

Obviously the internet means "minimalist and streamlined."

Next time I go into Ikea I may buy one (and 30 candles because I lack restraint).
