Inspiration Thursday: Remodelista's Book

Remodelista may be the first blogger design book I would recommend checking out from the library (or even buying!) Its not overly kitschy and the tone is casual professionalism.

The book is divided into sections for each part of the home and is chock full of anecdotes, explanations and sourcing information. Even if you're not in the market for a remodel (goodness knows I'm not) its laden with gorgeous pictures to inspire.

My parents are renting a small apartment with an even smaller kitchen. A shelf cum pot holder like this would be ideal for cramped quarters.

This modern little shelf with soap holder and vase is darling. Impractical but darling.

This living room actually shows a projector! I am so tired of designers who pretend to be above watching television.

I really like the way this tile is wrapped. As long as the grout is dark cleaning up in here should be a breeze.

Can you make out the wall tile? It looks like embroidery.

Finally - I'd never considered tone on tone kitchen counter and cabinets. Classy.
