What it sold for: Nothing Sold & its Time to make decisions edition

I didn't sell a single item this week.

and my final number of sold items in April? 10

Ten.

Now, this is mostly my fault because I barely listed and only did the basic Pinning but still - 10?

I'm looking at my current eBay dashboard and I have 237 active, 4 unsolds and a bunch ending in two days - presumably without bids. So what should I do?

I'm currently in a store trial and having a store has always hurt my bottom line so it may bounce back once I cancel. However, eBay listings have just gotten much pricier. They want a quarter to list an item for seven days. Some of my stuff doesn't sell for months so by the time they did sell I'd be losing money.

I don't think opening a store is the way to go because its $20 right away with only 150 listings AND I always sell less when I have a store too.

Argh I don't know what to do!

Here's my two cents. I think if you can list consistently- 3-5 items every day, then a store is the way to go. Cassini likes consistent listing. If you can only list a handful of things a week, I would get extremely selective about what I was buying and only list items with a quick sell thru rate.

Have you ever tried Etsy? I haven't but I know a lot of people like it and you can promote it on your blog.

Just my 2¢.
