and nary a mug was to be seen

Yep, I thrifted without buying a single mug!

Salvation Army:
DVDS: .99 each
Mario Kart for Wii - 3.99
Vase - 1.99
Slide tray - .99

A similar vase went for $40 on eBay recently but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Little thrift store: $5

Ring toss game for our 6 year old niece who loves old fashioned games

That box has three candle stick holders in variable, impossible to repack sizes. It also had this weird thing in the box:

The bottom isn't all scratched up but maybe its to hold flowers in an arrangement?

Its thin metal and hollow but doesn't appear to be a tiki torch.

So check it out - I got a whole (1 player) Mario Kart set up in one day for $5. Not too shabby.

The Narnia dvd came with these cool artwork cards I'm going to keep. I really like the bottom one of the ice queen.

The "weird thing" looks like the kind of thing you'd hold during a candlelight vigil? Maybe?

That vase is pretty- love cobalt! And I've done fairly well with slide trays. Nice finds.

Hi there, I was just going thru your blog, and I know this is an old post but I don't know if you have already figured out what the long thing is. Google "Bottleabra candle holder". I think that is what it is, my mom got one as a gift for Christmas one year :)
