I knew eBay was going to screw me over

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion says, "Because if I do, I will die too."
The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"
Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."
  1. Three weeks ago eBay offered me a free month store trial
  2. Knowing their propensity for tomfoolery I called to check if my store was free until the 15th or the 30th
  3. I was told the 30th
  4. Today I was billed $20 for the store (not the 15th OR the 30th)
  5. It took 25 minutes and 47 seconds on the phone to reverse the charge
I decided to cancel the store because my sales were so much worse with a store than as a standalone seller. Unscientifically doing bad math I would say 90% of my sales this month were things I pinned through that facebook group. This weekend I only sold 3 things (all pins) and 2 were pinned that very morning.

Even sadder, after fees and cost of items I was making less than $100 a week with a store.

Nice try eBay.
