eBay offers me a free store trial but I don't trust them

I spent half an hour reading all the fine print associated with the latest eBay promotion: ebay.com/trystores before signing up. I'm copying and pasting parts relevant to me because I don't trust eBay. Direct experience with their company has led me to bookmark more and google less. Their customer service reps are contradictory folks.

So here's some information Future Anny hopefully won't need:

"Invited sellers ("sellers") who sign up for a new eBay Stores subscription from February 20, 2014, until March 1, 2014, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein, will pay no subscription fee for the first month of their subscription. The amount credited* will be equal to the monthly rate for the store level signed up for ("Promotion")." http://pages.ebay.com/promo/2014/2014storepromo/index.html

"Your eBay Stores subscription will automatically renew by the length of your subscription term after the Promotional Subscription Period. Your store subscription will be deemed to start on the day you sign up. If you do not want to be charged for your eBay Stores subscription in accordance with the store terms after the Promotional Subscription Period, you will need to cancel your subscription by 23:59:59 PT, of the last day of your Billing Cycle (either March 15 or March 30)." http://pages.ebay.com/promo/2014/2014storepromo/index.html#feesnote

"For eBay Stores subscriptions sign-ups from February 20–February 27, credits will be processed by February 28, 2014, and appear on the March 1, 2014, invoice." Ibid.

My store is here: http://stores.ebay.com/Silver-Feather-Auctions but it won't be for long!
