Did you know CPR dummies are Annies?

As an Anny, this made junior year CPR training a pain in the butt.

I've obviously gotten over legless torsos cause look at what I bought today!!!

$25 each from a defunct store 45 minutes away! My husband drove while I said things like "look a Staples!" and "hey another Joann's!" and "that's where DMV used to be."

I don't know why more people don't ask me to co-pilot.

I'm so glad to own these awesome mannequins! I've been using a female plastic one on a hanger forever. I got it off eBay back in college and it shipped in a black trash bag wrapped in Priority Tape. The mailroom had all sorts of hilarious questions that day!

On the way back from mannequinning my husband took me to a Goodwill I'd heard of on Facebook.

I am SO spoiled by prices at the Salvation Army and Little Thrift Store! While this store had a lot of donated Target and Michael's stuff it was out of my comfort zone. I was sticker shockering all over the place. Still I got these:

.49 cents a mug (all on half price color sticker day - who would actually pay .99 for a mug!?)

The Mother and Father mug had apparently been used by coffee or tea drinkers so are soaking up Barkeeper's Friend. They were made by Enesco (a name I keep listing) in 1978 - my birth year :)

The Mother mug has a beauty mark. How cute is that?

I also saw my first definite reseller! She had a cart full of small kitchen appliances and was checking eBay on her phone. I'd drop by this store again if I am in the area but won't go out of my way to visit. The Salvation Army and Little Thrift Store have way better prices and selection.

Plus I never seem to have competition since folks there seem to be buying necessities while I am looking for eBayables.

I am linking to Magpie Monday and We Call it Junkin'.

Enesco makes some really cute owl stuff.

I loved when I was discovering new stores. I've now discovered them all... no more to discover! Although, a new one opened in my home town in November. Going back soon to visit, so going to go - how exciting!

Those Enesco mugs are super cute, in a strange kind of way :) I do like the beauty mark, and I'm glad you pointed it out, I missed it at first. My Goodwill is the same way with the prices, Salv Army much better. Thank you for sharing this at my History & Home link party this week, take care - Dawn @ We Call It
