QUICK! Grab the paint!

We've all seen the garage sale vases with paint swirled inside:

but check out some hot painted vases off of ye olde pin:

This blogette spray paints everything - including cardboard containers for beautifully recycled presentations: http://thecolorfullivingproject.blogspot.com/2011/05/spray-bottles-diy-project-part-one.html

These may be overpriced porcelain containers OR they may be crumbled aluminum spray painted

Looking glass paint looks like pewter to me!

Chalkboard paint would be a cute way of saying "Get Well Soon" or "Sorry I gave you food poisoning"

Faux mercury glass is a lengthier process but worth it: http://thepapermama.com/2012/11/day-28-faux-mercury-glass-vases.html

I don't have good luck with glittery spray paint or taping off lines but this lady has skills: http://www.celebrations.com/content/diy-details-for-a-golden-engagement-party

Car model paint could be a way of going: http://www.thecreativityexchange.com/2012/09/diy-gold-leaf-vase-how-to-paint-on-glass.html
