eBay fees are going up + other sucky news

eBay has one hell of a marketting team. They will e-mail blast us every day with information no one needs but when fees are going up you need to dig around to find it.

Right now sellers who have Auction style listings pay 9% of the final fee and those with Fixed price auctions pay between 7% and 13%: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.html#if_auction

Starting April 16 its 10% on everything across the board: http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/news/springupdate2013/springfeesimplification.html

Also check this change to Buy it Now:
"starting May 1, when you add Buy It Now to any Auction-style listing, it must be at least 30% over your listing’s start price"

You know what it is right now? 10%

That's a Stephen King jump right there.

Say I currently have a dinky little necklace selling for $10. I can opt to have a Buy it Now for $11. Someone will say "Self its only $1 more, lets just buy it and not risk being outbid."

Soon that same necklace, if starting at $10 will need a Buy it Now for $13. Sure I could start it for $9 and have the Buy it Now be $11.70 but I risk selling it for $9 and the person still may think its too much more.

All of these changes are only benefitting eBay. Aren't they making enough money yet!?
