HBO Select - Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital = LAMEST!

I was checking out the new True Blood coming out this week and was surprised by the 7 disk count on the blu-ray version since the season was only 12 episodes long.

I didn't realize HBO is going to release all new shows (and apparently will be going back to re-release old shows) on blu-ray as HBO Select editions. In the True Blood instance 5 of the disks will be blu-rays and two will be dual-sided dvds. If there is anything I hate more than having to buy multiple (inferior) copies of the same product its dual sided dvds.
