Solar Powered Candles

Isn't it funny how when you become aware of an idea or product you begin to see permutations of it all over the place?

I was just talking on Saturday about solar powered lights for the home and then I found a link to this product on craigslist, of all places.

The candles seem simple to use - turn upside down so the solar panel can charge during the day then flip them back at night to get "up to 8 hours" of flickering candlelight at night. They cost around $25 for a pair, which is a fair price. Wouldn't they be cuter with white or woodtone bases though?

The picture and video are from vat19.com which sells them for about the same price as well: http://www.vat19.com/dvds/solar-powered-led-flickering-outdoor-candles.cfm
