BzzAgent Review: CoverGirl Lip Perfection

Makeup always looks so pretty in ads.
I'll admit I'm tremendously lazy when it comes to shopping for new makeup. I like what I like, wear it until it runs out and then despair because its been invariably phased out. Don't believe me? This is the lipstick I've been wearing for the past few months:

I won't give up on you Revlon #201 Sweet Honey!
Its Revlon #201 Sweet Honey and I can't find it locally. Its about time to get a new lipstick eh?

So I was psyched to get invited to participate in this Bzz about the new CoverGirl Lip Perfection lipsticks. I got #235 Fervor and #320 Soulmate. Unfortunately even before I'd opened the lipsticks I'd already managed to get the cases completely covered in my fingerprints.
I wasn't even playing with lard.
I just can't have nice things.

Anyway this is my default mouth. Isn't it weird how my bottom lip pigmentation doesn't cover the whole jutting out portion? When wearing bright colors I need to play with liner and concealer to make it look more normal.

I don't wear bright colors much.

This is me with apparently poorly applied on my top lip #235 fervor. I like it.

This is #320 Soulmate. Its very bright pink and makes me think of the 80s. Apparently my bathroom mirror isn't the best for photograhing lipstick colors. I'll be passing this along to my teenaged cousin who likes makeup if she wants it.

Both lipsticks applied nicely and lasted a long time. Neither will replace the Revlon in my heart but they will replace it in the makeup cubby for now.

I received both items free from BzzAgent in order to review. You can read more about them at and if you have a blog should really sign up because its fun and the items you receive are so random. If you want to see what else I've reviewed from them click here:

You should be a lip model.
