Get fit with Multi-Grain Cheerios - Contest

My brother buys these for my two year old niece and man do I love them! They're sweet enough to be tasty but not enough to make you feel guilty for having them as breakfast (I'm looking at you Cinnamon Toast Crunch). According to the box they have 5 whole grains and 100% of stuff that's good for you.

Blog Disclaimer: I am not a dietician.

General Mill and MyBlogSpark have teamed up to sponsor a new contest!

One winner will receive a box of MultiGrain Cheerios with a special code inside that unlocks:
  • A Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator to gauge how much weight you may need to lose or gain to be considered healthy and not at risk for serious health problems
  • An exclusive 7 Day Plan that pairs daily meal plans with cardio and strength-training routines
  • 15 tasty recipes that will give your body the fuel it needs to get through the day
  • Daily workouts that couple cardio with mobility and resistance exercises to hit major muscle groups
at their special website: http://www.multigraincheerios.com/BiggestLoser/

Also included is a pretty cool gym bag, water bottle and a small container with fliptop lid which is perfect for transporting cereal.

I'm pretty excited about this contest because I love this cereal and my waistline could use food that won't lead to popped jean buttons. Plus I was just in Baltimore and have a sudden, newfound love for the color purple. Go Ravens! (next year)

So to enter the contest you can comment and say something either:
  • Pro-Ravens (Yay purple!)
  • Pro-Cheerios
  • Pro-Exercise
  • Pro-Weight Loss
  • Pro-Maintaining lost weight
  • about The Biggest Loser
  • or funny. I love jokes!
2nd Disclaimer: I received the above prize pack for hosting this contest. Contest open to US residents only (sorry but they mail the stuff, not me). This contest sponsored by GM through MyBlogSpark. Contest Ends January 24, 2011.

3rd Disclaimer: I like writing disclaimers.

Congratulations to Jacqueline at http://expandingexperiences.blogspot.com/ for winning this contest!

Pro-Weight Loss Tip: do a Meatless Monday every week. That does *not* mean cookies and ice cream all day...try some veggie chili, bean tacos, garden burgers, etc. Go light on the cheese and sauces. Have fruit for dessert. It really does help you lose weight because you're thinking about how to live a more healthy lifestyle.

I'm usually a plain cheerios person (witha drizzle of honey) but these looks really good!

Pro-exercise tip - I like to put a star sticker on my wall calendar for each day I do at least 30 mins. of cardio. Easy to track and holds me accountable.

Thanks for the chance to win!
