Cool hotel lighting - Kinda molded

This was the wall of our hotel room in Baltimore last week. There was a wavy, leafy pattern plaster "thing" mounted on the wall with a valance of the same material in front.
It dimmed on and off slowly like a methodical, brainwashing Christmas tree.
Once I snapped out of it I realized their secret - ROPE LIGHTS!
Secured with regular wire holding clamps. (Yes I was directly under it for this picture.

Isn't that super cool? I would have sworn I blogged about a guy who carved similar pieces out of foam for super cheap. I'm going to go find his page and update this post when I do. It was gorgeous.
