Saling in September

According to Ye Olde Blog I haven't been garage saling since May! Our apartment finally reached the point where only beautiful or useful things should be allowed in (and hopefully with a replacement being ushered out!)

Well this weekend I happenstanced across a garage saling block and felt compelled to park and shop. I'm so glad I did!

A cord clutter cutter downer - about 4-5 feet long and only .50!

$1 for 2 wicker plate holders, a faux leather yellow "recipe" box, glass candle holder and a wooden VDay sign. I'd just been checking out a candle holder like that for $8 this past week so by waiting I saved $7.80. Sweet :D The wicker holders will come in handy when I put hot stuff on the kitchen table.

I knew the recipe holder was the perfect size for cds! It even has a little magnetic flap of Cuteness!

.25 for a big Yankee candle (see the 3 wicks? its big) and yet two more white bowls. I own too many small white bowls because I imagine Future Anny having a party with candy buffet displayed in white glass. My roomy scoffs.

$1 for two glass cookie jars. My mom convinced me storing food in plastic will lead to my growing a third arm. Therefor I own a lot of glass storage.

Find of the month - a 19" flat screen monitor for $10!!! I am now rocking the Dual Monitor display like a real graphic designer!

Total Spent saling: $12.75

My friend is having a garage sale this weekend and I am packing up a bunch of previously garage saled things to move along their way. I bought too many housewares I didn't need last year and its time to declutter. Wish me luck as I make many quarters and empty my cupboards to make space for things ... like food!

I had to laugh at your growing a third arm comment! Looks like you got some great deals. And a monitor for $10.00 - wow.
