Inspiration Thursday: Metropolitan Home (yes, again)

I love clean, sparse design and can't figure out why I love this room so much. Part of it is the television screen that looks like an extra painting, part of it is the unexpected photo over the television trio and I do like the plants and prints plus that wing next to the tv is Genius...I think what I like most about it is that I could never pull off a design like this!

The headboard that redefined glamour for me. You just can't make something like this at home!

This one is subtle but what clinches the image for me is the mother in law's plant stuck in that vase of white rocks (see it on the table all the way to the left?). I'm tempted to uproot my healthy, boringly potted plant and start expirementing in ways that would probably lead to its demise :(

These comfy, angular black chairs keep popping up around the internet and need to start popping up in my house. Of course this has roughly 3000 reasons for not showing up...and each reason is a dollar bill ;)

See through and unexpected, I like.

I might fake a sprained ankle just to lay in this chaise all day. Of course I would be immediately be found out as I ran and jumped unto it :/

Wall Decal Champion Aught9

If dinner guests are freaked out by the painting they can just stare at the lighting fixture instead because I heart them both!

How amazing is that coffee table? I love clean, industrial design like this.

I never realized how much I loved this magazine!

OMG, that headboard. I can't stop staring at it! And I WISH that tea set came in a big girl style. I'd be all over it for tea parties!

Okay, seriously? Glass AND wheels on a coffee table? Obviously no kids in the house. Wicked cool though.
