1. Its Free. Amazon has a decent selection of freebie texts. Back in my college days I would google for texts (because I'm cheap and books are expensive), having a centralized download spot is infinitely easier than Googling (I feel like a cad for typing that).
2. Kindle owners can share their texts between 6 devices - now including their real computers, iphones and kindles.

I would love to own a Kindle! My brother who married the girl with the braces would love one as well as we both just devour books. Luckily for us we have a Goodwill close by that has been turned into a bookstore Goodwill. They sell nothing but BOOKS! Glorious, beautiful, inexpensive books (80cents for hardbound). I love hardbound books. I'm on my way there later today. If not for them we would really be hurting in being able to afford buying new.
I like holding an actual BOOK... HATE reading online books and iphone is too small!
