Bracelet Contest

Bracelet_ContestCheerios is sponsoring this blog's first ever contest! Three lucky winners will receive a freshwater pearl bracelet with a heart charm from Charity Charms, which donates a portion of proceeds from its charms to various charities.

In order to enter this contest answer the question "What do you do to maintain a healthy heart?" in the comments. Three winners will be selected via a random number generator and contacted on April 1. Sorry but this contest is only open to USA and Canadian addresses. I'm not the one mailing them out or I'd make it a worldwide contest :(

Cheerios, doing their part to helpDo you know your cholesterol number? High cholesterol is one of the major controllable factors for coronary heart disease, which is the number one cause of death for women. Wondering how you can help? Now through January 31, 2010, for every code entered at, Cheerios will donate $1, up to $200,000, to raise awareness for heart disease and provide free cholesterol screenings for women in need, through its partnership with WomenHeart. What a great contest!

To maintain a healthy heart I treasure it! This means I try to make sure it gets all the vitamins and minerals it needs, I work hard to make sure that it gets regular exercise, I pray/meditate to make sure it gets peace and I feed it a healthy breakfast each and every morning :0)

Cute bracelet!

To maintain a healthy heart I try and get in some kind of cardio exercise at least four times a week and I also eat oatmeal for breakfast, but I'm sure Cheerios didn't want to hear about that. ;-)

(To the Cheerios people: Hey, I still love Cheerios! Feel free to send some my way and perhaps I'll switch back! =D )

Well, who doesn't want a free bracelet?

I run 2-3 times a week. Or rather, I make that my goal, but this month it was more like... 1-2.

Cheerios? I like them, but I'm on a granola+yogurt kick right now. I really like the honey nut ones.

I alternate between Cherrios and regular oatmeal.

To make the oatmeal pallatable, I use milk and Tazo Chai mix. It's passable :)
