Coupon Database and Me

A long time ago, when I was YEARS younger than I am now I would buy the Sunday paper and stare at every coupon in the circular. I would try to remember what coupons might be relevant and then put the circulars away.

This method? Full of Fail.

After that the internet became big and I started hanging out on MyCoupons where visitors would link up deals with coupons. All I had to do was show up every week, scissors in hand, browser open and just follow directions to optimize deals. Those were glorious times.

Then HotCouponWorld split off from DAGG, optimized their coupon database and revolutionized the way I coupon. All I have to do is buy the paper weekly and drop by whenever the urge to buy something and save money combine.

I visit a lot.

Here's a sample scenario for saving money this week:
CVS has Colgate toothpaste for $2.99 with a $2.99 ECB making it free

That's nice but what's better than free? Lets see what the coupon database says.

I typed in Colgate and was linked to a printable $1 coupon.

So now I'm paying $1.99 and getting back $2.99

That's what you call a money maker ;)

Also if your Target accepts internet printables, HCW is full of people who revel in finding the right coupon combination. I live in Jersey only CVS accepts printables so double check with your store before printing all willy nilly!
